Marcus Anderson, MBA – Partner – Marketing Strategy

Marcus is a founding partner of Broadplay, responsible for maintaining client relationships and providing strategic marketing and sales expertise. He has over 15 years of experience in increasingly senior roles in a variety of industries including wireless, consumer-packaged goods, computer hardware and computer software.

Prior to launching Broadplay, Marcus was VP Sales and Marketing with SiMPRO PCS, a niche market MVNO service provider within the Canadian PCS sector. He was instrumental in growing all aspects of the business from increased distribution and dealer presence, to creation of both a B2B corporate sales strategy and a B2C campaign to drive sales through pricing and promotional management. His intricate knowledge of successful marketing programs has been honed in Business Development and Product Management roles at tier-one firms such as Microcell Telecommunications, Colgate-Palmolive, Dell Computer and Lotus Development. Marcus has his MBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.

Nishit Shah, MBA – Partner – Client Services

Nishit possesses an unyielding customer-focused approach and brings a wealth of experience along with a successful track record to the Broadplay team. He has been instrumental in defining, developing and implementing marketing and Web solutions with companies such at Rothmans, ING Direct, Canada Life and Dupont. Prior to joining Broadplay, Nishit managed the enterprise-wide eBusiness strategy implementation at DuPont Canada where he led and created their Knowledge Management vision and roadmap. In addition, Nishit has employed his strengths in problem-solving, analysis and project management to help Canada Life successfully launch a leading consumer eCommerce insurance portal.

Nishit has an MBA degree from The Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Warwick in the UK.
